On Wednesday 20th March our S2 Arran 1 and Arran 2 classes took part in an exciting Intergenerational Event: See and Be Seen. The event was aimed at tackling ageism, promoting intergenerational working and building stronger relationships across our community. It was delivered by our Saltire Awards South Ayrshire Youth Development team in Belmont Academy and VASA (Voluntary Action South Ayrshire)
All outside agencies and the older members of our community involved in the event commented on what an amazing group of young people we have at Belmont Academy. They were exceptional and a credit to our school.
