This course is designed to challenge and engage students who have a passion for media studies. Throughout the course, students will delve into the world of film, television, advertising, and music videos. They will analyse iconic films such as Psycho and blacKKKlansman, as well as critically evaluate the effectiveness of product advertisements and music videos. This is a challenging course that is perfect for students who have excelled in Higher English and who are interested in pursuing a career in the media or creative industries. By the end of this course, students will have developed a nuanced understanding of the role that media plays in shaping our world.
